“I love them, but I don’t support gay marriage” = Hatred wrapped in a warm blanket
That’s like saying, “I love black people, but I don’t support their skin color. Why can’t they just bleach their skin? My religion tells me that dark skin is a sin, so it must be okay to dislike dark skin.” - That sounded really racist and horrible didn’t it?
Next time you say, “I love them, but I don’t support gay marriage because my religion says it’s a sin,” think about what you’re saying.
